Individual Instruction

One on One Individual training sessions: Cost is $135 per 1 hour session

One on One License Certification sessions: Fee is dependent upon the required license

Class Location: Individual instruction class locations are topic and firearm specific, contact us prior to registering for individual instruction.

Individual Instruction Training and Classes will be posted online on an as requested basis for students to register online.

A typical one on one class for beginners is 1 hour in the training classroom, covering the fundamentals of shooting, safe handling, grip, sighting, breath control, trigger press, and follow through; coupled with laser pistol training to practice the fundamentals.  Then, 1 hour on the range putting the fundamentals into live fire use.

For experienced shooters, a session is typically 1 hour on the range, assessing the students’ skills and focusing on improving the basic skills the student already possesses.  

For experienced shooters who have a specific goal, we will put together a lesson focused on addressing the goals, developing a self training program the student can take with them to practice and train with on their own and then spend 1 hour on the range working that lesson in practical exercises.

Students will need to supply ammunition for the session, and ammunition is available for purchase in our Essex facility, and at the shooting ranges. We suggest at least 100 rounds of target ammunition.  If multiple calibers of handguns are to be used, at least 50 rounds for each caliber, for each hour of training.

We do not recommend more than 2 hours of range time for any training session as fatigue is detrimental to development of good muscle memory and can lead to the development of bad habits that are difficult to correct.

Cost for one-one-one training is $135 per hour.  We do not include the travel time between the classroom training facility and the range as part of your time in training, so a 2 hour session will typically last 2 ½ to 3 hours, but you will only be paying for a 2 hour session.
