Class Cost: $100 per person.
Fee includes range fees, target, ammunition for class provided firearms and filing assistance.
You do not need your fingerprints scanned prior to taking the class and we recommend that you wait until you complete your course work before doing so. Student fingerprinting services are available at a number of area fingerprinting service providers.
Class Length: 4 hours, plus range time for live fire session
Classroom Location: The classroom is located in the Canton Community of Baltimore.
Range Location: We conduct the live fire training and qualification at either of two very convenient locations in Maryland.

Range Live Fire Session:
- Students will fire at least 1 round for familiarization.
- Generally, our students fire at least 10 rounds from 3 different handguns
- Students who fire their own handgun should bring at least 10 rounds of target ammunition
- If you need assistance with ammunition, we can assist you prior to attending the class
NOTE: If you have a Medical Marijuana Card, you are ineligible to receive a Handgun Qualification License (HQL) in the State of Maryland. Do not register for this class. If you have any questions on how to apply and who may be denied, refer to our FAQ Section.
